Take Care With JRun Updater 7 and ColdFusion 8.0.1

We ran into an issue recently where a client running ColdFusion 8.0.1 who wanted us to apply JRun Updater 7, which luckily, we tested in our lab, first.  The version of JRun which comes with ColdFusion 8.0.1 is build 108673, the version of JRun in updater 7 is build 108621.  So we did not go ahead with the update and just wanted to share this in case it helps others.

With any luck, Coldfusion X or 10, or whatver, will no longer be based on JRun, but will come out of the box built on a more modern JEE container, like Tomcat, JBoss, or Glassfish, without requiring a lot of extra configuration.

My wife is running a e-commerce business using a server in our home and she is running cold fusion. When we started this business that was the latest and greatest technology. Now I am not so sure. We need to get those files off our computer and into a php environment, but don't even know where to begin. Any advice would be appreciated.
