The purpose of this blog post is to perhaps help someone who has certainly helped me to gain greater notoriety in the ColdFusion, JRun and JavaEE world's; Jason Delmore.  Jason, who headed up the ColdFusion product initiative at Adobe, has been let go ,as part of the 600 lay-offs just announced.  The irony of that is Jason's lay-off had nothing to do with ColdFusion, Adobe had a dissappointing response to the take-up of CS4 and that appears to be the main reason for the poorer financial showing and these lay-offs.

Jason's blog post on this issue can be found here.  I wish him good luck and with his solid software engineering background I am sure it will not be long before he finds a position somewhere and I hope it is within the CFML world.

@Todd thank you for letting me know that, Steven has been a great resource on so many things CF-JRun so I am very sorry to hear about that.

I am too. Both of these guys were very well respected within the community and while I'm 100% confident that they'll both find something new, I'm quite upset at the news.
