Do you have any projects in the works that you will be revealing at CFUnited?  Liz Frederick asked all speakers to answer at least five out of a list of 10 questions and blog the answer so here is my first answer to question 3 in the list. Yes, we will be revealing progress and results from our new test lab that we are currently building out.  This will be based in a datacenter here in Los Angeles and we hope to have interesting statistics to publish such as:

  • Comparisons in performance/stability running the same applications on Windows and Unix using ColdFusion, Railo and OpenBD.
  • Detailed metrics from load testing the next version of ModelGlue.
  • Test results from running windows based CFML applications against IIS7 with ColdFusion and BlueDragon.NET as alternative CFML engines.

I am sure other items related to the lab will crop up between now and CFUnited so there should be a great deal of meaty information to digest, see you there.
